Villa Maria

Villa Maria Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough 2014 Cellar Selection 13%
Crisp, lively and intense with loads of passion fruit and tropical pinch suggestions; light sweet herbs and a fresh lively quality. On the palate - just dry with a little residual sugar, light, fresh and sweet tasting fruits laced with suggestions of mango, passion fruit and citrus; plenty of lively acidity; balanced and well made with a medium finish.

Villa Maria Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough 2013 Templar Vineyard 13% (Organic)
A very specific bouquet with a fresh soft herb, green mango and vibrant bouquet of fresh fruit with a bell-pepper note as well - overall quite complex. On the palate - dry, herbal and vegetal with bellpepper before fruit flavors, the wine then changes and opens up to a more fruit centered attack; medium++ acidity, just dry with a light sweet note; balanced and well made. A specific wine that needs more than just a few minutes of your time.

Villa Maria Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough 2013 Southern Clays 13%
'Classic' Marlborough expression with lots of vibrant and concentrated fresh fruit aromas packed with tropical, gooseberry and citrus suggestions; wet stone mineral notes and fresh herbs (basil). On the palate - fresh, crisp, juicy and lively with flavors of sweet lemon and tropical fruits; high acidity is balanced by a hint of sugar, but ultimately the wine finishes dry. Lovely balance and finish. Delicious!
