Craggy Range

Craggy Range 'Te Muna Four' 2014 Te Muna Vineyard Martinborough
From a traditional Alsace (Fr) blend approach - this is a white wine made from classic varieties (typically Riesling, Pinot Gris, Muscat and Gewurztraminer). On the nose - exotic and fleshy with lots of white fleshed fruits - pears, apples, tropical fruits and citrus. On the palate - fresh and very crisp with plenty of acidity contrasted by some sweetness and oily textures then fruit flavors as above. A touch of phenolic bitterness adds length to the palate and finish - a balanced and interesting expression that will no doubt please many who try.
85 Points
