Villa Maria 'R&D' Sauvignon Blanc on Skins 2015
Varietal, wild, distinctive and floral - Manuka honey, wild flowers, pineapple skin then passion fruit. On the palate - WILD - dry, textured, Manuka honey, floral then vibrant stolen orchard fruits. Clearly a different yet valid expression of SB - pushing the boundaries of texture, wine making and even what the public might accept. Well made, legitimate, different.
