mix of scents led by oak then fruit with dark brown spices, toasty oak and dark
fruits of plum and blackberry, a distinctive floral layer of dark rose adds complexity
and charm. On the palate – juicy and salivating with ripe plum and red berry
flavours with plenty of acidity and ripe tannins – showing a course silk to
finer textures; cloves and vanilla toasty oak flavours; lengthy finish. Overall
a very nice wine with a drink now appeal, though best from 2019 through 2028.
