Riesling 2016 Awatere Valley, Marlborough
Plush, fragrant and varietal with
mandarin, lime flower and apple aromas, a light white spice moment adds
intrigue and complexity. On the palate – off dry with some residual sweetness,
but immediately and contrasting high acidity finishes the wine dry; flavours of
apple and citrus lead with a youthful coarse silk texture and lengthy finish. Drink
now and through 2035.

with aromas and flavours of baked white fleshed fruits, some citrus and rocky
mineral-like suggestions. Just off-dry and warm with some elevated alcohol,
