Estate ‘Damsteep’ Riesling 2016 North Canterbury
Very expressive and distinctively
individual bouquet with aromas of lees, beer, ginger, baked lime and lemon,
pressed flowers and manuka honey. On the palate – dry, ripe and textured with
plenty of acidity and lees derived teasers; flavours of sweet lime and lemon,
honey and lees. Long finish – a lovely wine. Different yet delightful. Best
from now and through 2022.
